What Techniques Are Used?
Kinesiology and Muscle Monitoring
Kinesiology seeks to find the combination of information, causal factors and remedies to help restore balance in all kinds of scenarios; using gentle muscle monitoring to tap into the body’s stress responses. By noticing small changes in muscle tone, we can identify where the body is holding tension or imbalance, and then use simple corrections to restore balance and flow. This process creates a powerful opportunity to become more self-aware and feel empowered in the choices you make in your life.


Nervous System Balance and Brain Integration
Brain integration is a gentle process that helps different parts of the brain communicate more smoothly with each other. Using kinesiology and the LEAP approach developed by Charles Krebs, we can support clearer thinking, emotional balance, and easier learning by reducing stress blocks in the brain’s pathways. This helps the survival brain feel safe, so the emotional self can settle, and you can respond to life with greater ease and resilience.
Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy
Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy is gentle, yet profound. A method for enhancing the function of the nervous system and returning balance and mobility to the whole body. This safe and supportive process allows for the release of trauma and emotions stuck within the body and supports in developing greater self-awareness. Receptive touch (no big mechanical ‘cracking’ adjustments!)

Many other techniques are available, depending on your personal needs including:
Somatic Processing, Acupressure and TCM theory, EFT Reprogramming Stuck Emotion, Chakra Balancing, Kundala Applied Intuitive method, Qigong, Taichi and embodied movement therapies, and more.

KIDS
Emma works with people of all ages. From babies (via parent as surrogate) to primary schoolers to teenagers. She regularly addresses contributing factors around separation anxiety, oppositional and attention disorders,
bed wetting, sleep problems, behavioural challenges and lots more. Young people respond very quickly to holistic therapies, which are very gentle and unobtrusive. Emma especially enjoys the opportunity to work with the Parents as well, supporting the whole family system to restore balance.

COUPLES AND GROUPS
Emma creates a safe and open experience, to connect and explore the relational space between you and your partner; alternatively between you and your child, or even you and your parent. (Individual sessions recommended first).
Throughout the year, various group sessions are available, blending guided self-inquiry, gentle embodiment practices, and reflective discussions in a supportive space. It is not one-to-one therapy, but a shared exploration where you can engage deeply with yourself while learning with others. Current dates available via the Book Online button below.
